Sharp Airlines & Inbound Aviation are pleased to announce that an in-principal agreement for the continuation of Australia’s longest successfully running cadetship has been made.
Sharp Airlines operates 21 Metroliner aircraft servicing 5 States in the Airline, Freight and FIFO markets. Sharp carries over 100,000 passengers and 1.5 million kilograms of freight per annum. With bases in Adelaide, Brisbane, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne (Essendon) and Perth, our network continues to expand. Sharp Airlines is continually growing and looking for opportunities.
Sharp Airlines Managing Director, Malcolm Sharp: “We look forward to working with Inbound Aviation and will oversee operations of the program at its Essendon Base in Victoria. Cadets will be exposed to Airline operations on a day-to-day basis which in the past has made our cadets stand out in the industry as multi-faceted and job-ready."
Inbound Aviation’s management team are highly experienced in airline operations and is accustomed to understanding the needs and expectations of regional operators.
Inbound Aviation Managing Director, Tom Gollan: “Inbound Aviation feels highly privileged to be entrusted with a prestigious training program such as the Sharp Airlines Cadetship. The environment in which the cadets will operate in, is arguably the most challenging and complex that Australia has to offer. With that in mind, it demands the highest standard of training possible”. Inbound Aviation is excited to continue the Sharp legacy and deliver quality cadets to the Airline.
Sharp Airlines & Inbound Aviation will move forward with an anticipated first intake of cadets in June 2022.
